At Dove House Hospice Ltd trading as Your Charity Lottery, the protection of personal data is of paramount importance. We pride ourselves on being open and transparent with you about how your information is used and the processes we adopt to ask for financial support.

We may employ other companies from time to time to provide services for us, including for example, processing of payments in order for us to be able to provide our services to you. If you believe that any of your personal data held by us is incorrect then you can contact us to amend your personal data. You can also request that we delete some or all of your personal data which we will do on your request save where we are required by law to keep records.
Our safe keeping of your data
Your data is kept securely at all times to protect from unauthorised access or from accidental loss or corruption. The details held on databases are only accessible to appropriately trained staff and volunteers. Only those who need to access this information as an essential part of their role have access. All access is tracked through individual log-ins. Our databases are held on secure servers and information is routinely monitored.
If a third party supplier is used we will ensure that their data collection is at the same level of security as ours and keeps your details safe. We will ensure there is a secure transfer of data to and from a third party (ie; password protected downloads of emails) and we will ensure we know how the data is being disposed after use. We will not enter into any agreements with third parties should we feel their approach to using data is less stringent than our own. Please note that our storage of your personal data is incidental to our provision of service to you and does not absolve you of your responsibility to back up your important information.
How to unsubscribe
We are committed to protecting the privacy of participants. Personal information that is collected from participants is used lawfully in accordance with Data Protection Act 1988. As well as processing your Draw entries, Your Charity Lottery and the beneficiary charity/society may also use your information to contact you with news and fundraising updates. In providing your information to us, you consent to us, or the beneficiary charity/society using your information for these purposes.
